Hacer Yıldırım

Marmara Üniversitesi Özel Eğitim Bölümü'nden 2009 yılında mezun olduktan sonra, Türkiye'nin çeşitli bölgelerinde özel eğitim öğretmeni olarak çalışan Hacer Yıldırım, 2012 yılında Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Yönetimi Teftiş ve Planlama Bölümü'nde yüksek lisans eğitimini başarıyla tamamlamıştır.

Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı kapsamında özel eğitim ve otistik çocuklar eğitim merkezlerinde idarecilik ve öğretmenlik yapmış, İstanbul Rehabilitasyon Merkezleri'nde denetçilik görevini üstlenmiş ve müfredat düzenleme ile ARGe projelerinde yer almıştır.

2014 yılından itibaren İngiltere'de çeşitli kurum ve kuruluşlarda çalışan Hacer Yıldırım, özel eğitim alanında deneyimlerini artırmış ve ilerleyen zamanlarda özel eğitim okulu ve yatılı otizm evlerinde idarecilik (Deputy Manager) pozisyonlarında bulunmuştur. Otizmli çocuklar okullarında ve evlerinde çalıştığı dönemlerde, yoğun eğitimler alarak sonucunda Ergoterapi (Occupational Therapy) eğitimi almaya karar vermiştir.

2019 yılında Oxford Brooks University'de Pre Reg Master eğitimini onur derecesiyle tamamlamış ve master tezini "The Use of Deep Pressure Therapy Approach Among Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder" başlığı altında sunmuştur.

2021 yılından itibaren NHS bünyesinde hastanelerde, toplumda ve konsey bünyesinde HCPC kayıtlı Ergoterapist olarak çalışan Hacer Yıldırım, Oxford Community Disability Team, Child Development and Assessment Team, Oxford Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Stroke and Spinal Injury Unit, Abingdon Community Emergency Responses Unit ve Pediatric Community OT departmanlarında görev almıştır.

Halen Sheffield Üniversitesi'nde (PGDip) Sensory Integration Therapy Diploma Course'a devam etmekte ve NHS'de part-time olarak çalışmakta ve Psikolog Londra Terapi Platformu bünyesinde danışan kabul etmektedir.

Hacer Yıldırım Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) kayıtlıdır ve Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) üyesidir.

After graduating from Marmara University's Special Education Department in 2009, Hacer Yıldırım worked as a special education teacher in various regions of Turkey. In 2012, she successfully completed her master's degree in Educational Administration, Inspection, and Planning at Yıldız Technical University.

Within the scope of the Ministry of National Education, she held administrative and teaching positions in special education and autism education centers, took on supervisory roles at Istanbul Rehabilitation Centers, and actively participated in curriculum development and R&D projects.

Since 2014, Hacer Yıldırım has been working in various institutions in the United Kingdom, enhancing her experiences in the field of special education. Over time, she has taken on managerial positions, such as Deputy Manager, in special education schools and residential autism homes. During her periods of working with autistic children in schools and homes, she pursued intensive training, leading her to decide to pursue Occupational Therapy education.

In 2019, she graduated with honors from the Pre Reg Master program at Oxford Brooks University, presenting her master's thesis on "The Use of Deep Pressure Therapy Approach Among Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder."

From 2021 onwards, Hacer Yıldırım has been working within the NHS in hospitals, communities, and council positions as a registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC). She has contributed to various departments, including Oxford Community Disability Team, Child Development and Assessment Team, Oxford Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Stroke and Spinal Injury Unit, Abingdon Community Emergency Responses Unit, and Pediatric Community OT.

Currently, she is pursuing the Sensory Integration Therapy Diploma Course at Sheffield University (PGDip), working part-time at the NHS, and accepting clients as a therapist under the Psychologist London Therapy Platform.

Hacer Yıldırım is registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
